Does it make me sad to admit that Hodgins wrist comforting is a frequent 'fantasy' of mine?

Um...no! Because that is totally hot. Especially that scene where Angela keeps snapping it and he's all "Grrrr." and has to take a deep breath to calm himself down. Yeah, hot!!
